Chris Jolly Group
Formed in 2018 the Chris Jolly Group is a dynamic and innovative musical ensemble that skilfully combines original compositions with the timeless melodies and grooves of jazz legends such as Bob Reynolds, Omer Avital, Keyon Harrold, and Kenny Garrett. Comprising a cadre of exceptionally talented and passionate musicians, the Chris Jolly Group is on a mission to carve out a unique and enchanting space within the jazz landscape that showcases the music scene in the North of England.
Their original compositions serve as the creative catalyst, infusing groove-based melodies with a boundless freedom of improvisation. These soundscapes then provide a canvas upon which each band member paints their unique musical identity, collectively creating a mosaic of sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and boldly forward-thinking.
With an ever-growing fan base and a reputation for bringing fresh melodies to every performance, the group continues to evolve and inspire.
